From our very inception in 1977, founder Kenneth Anders has instilled the importance of education and elevating one's career through excellent, and focused training to be able to give our clients the very best beauty experience possible. EVERY ONE of our technicians comes to us as an Ohio licensed graduate of an accredited school. However, they want more out of their career and to be a part of Kenneth's unique salon community through this post-graduate opportunity.
We have spent the past year evaluating what we do and how we deliver our services and are proud to share our new concepts. We have incorporated our Core Values deeply into our training as well as added new instructors to our roster, added new scheduling/reminder systems, and created pricing structures for all beauty budgets through the training levels to name a few. Academy Model Program
Phase I-BELIEVE
As a model, you can expect:
In Phase I we have selected people based on their personality, desire for excellence, and fit into our salon community. Although they are ALL fully licensed, we will add skills and personal development that are proprietary to the Kenneth's brand.
In this phase, you will notice a definite collaboration with our instructors. Our instructors are salon leaders with specialized training and experience to guide the services and learning process. We will spend much more time in breaking down the fundamental elements of the services you receive so quality is insured along the way and at the outcome. You will hear how we share the elements of building design, formulating color, and recommending the best products and services. Although time efficiency is always a priority, in this phase we appreciate your patience as we work in tandem with our techs to build their skills and confidence.
Phase II-GROW
As a model, you can expect:
In Phase II we will focus on developing the tech's ability to "personalize" the services. This will encompass more creative color formulation, personal adjustments of hair cuts and styles, and an ever-expanding knowledge of our services and products for our client's personal problem solving. We will also start to incorporate a great understanding of texture and tools necessary to solve a broader spectrum of our client's needs
We also will be training our tech's "professional eye" to seek and create the service plan for their client/model. They will come to us for validation and verification. Our instructors are still very much a part or the entire process, but we are starting to push our techs into the overall creation of not only the look you are going for, but how to best deliver the service experience that Kenneth's has built its reputation upon.
Phase III-CARE
As a model, you can expect:
At this level our technicians not only have their license but have put in hundreds of hours in our training program and have worked on many model/clients. They are confident in providing personalized, layered services that reflect today's trends as well as consumer needs. Our instructors will be doing quality control through a variety of measurements to make sure they can handle multiple clients in a day, yet seamlessly deliver a great experience. At this level you should see not only their growth, and confidence, but an apparent enthusiasm as they prepare to venture into the final phase of their training.
