Amelia has been a rock star right out of the gate! She's always helping her coworkers, her clients are giving rave reviews, and she's already helped out several times at other locations since she started with us at the beginning of April. And what a hectic time to be brand new! She was at Millrun for just a few shifts before the big move, but she hasn't let that rattle her at all :)
Specifically in a recent incident- when a fellow tech had to leave sick- Amelia stepped up to accommodate a group that was about to be canceled on. She saw us scrambling to find a solution, and she didn't bat an eye at offering to squeeze in a 75-minute pedi into a 45-minute slot. Kristen, who was also part of that pedi group, immediately said, “We'll all help Amelia get her next one set up for her so that'll buy us some time to finish the group. We've got this!”
Amelia was amazing for even offering that at all, but then Kristen jumping in to help her was so heart-warming. That was some beautiful teamwork to lift – up a new tech to show her what she's capable of! Amazing job all around, ladies!
BELIEVE – Amelia displayed this core value by believing in herself to go above and beyond to make a client's day. She was confident that she could knock it out even if she was short on time because she knew she could lean on her team if she needed them.
Amelia, you're already fitting in so well at Hilliard; and with a crew like that behind you I know you're going to do great things! Keep believing in yourself, girl! :)
