Bailey has demonstrated: Team Support/Collaboration, Leadership/Initiative

Bailey is a new stylist and is still not very busy with clients. On a particularly slow evening she asked everyone in the salon what she could do to help them, if there was anything she could deep clean, even asking to do others nightly duties to help. She took the initiative to help her coworkers without being asked and would rather keep busy supporting her team than sit in the back room on her phone. Her positive energy and constant smile can be felt throughout the salon; she was even skipping around while cleaning! She goes above and beyond all the time, but this night stood out.

Baiiley’s actions matter to our team so much because it supports the salon, checking in with coworkers, keeping the environment clean, and having a positive attitude. She is a great example of someone who thinks of the better of the entire team rather than just worrying about herself. This reflects thinking like an owner because she understands that whether she has a client in her chair or not there is still a job to do and she is happy to help everyone out to make everyone from fellow stylists, receptionists, and clients have a better experience while in the salon.

This is a great example of caring for our company, coworkers, and clients. Also, that your individual role makes a difference in the community around you.

I think others could learn how important the individual attitude and actions affect the entire salon. It's easy to come in every day and only worry about yourself, but others notice it and it makes an impact on everyone when you are positive, energetic, and supportive.
