1. Pastels with a Twist

Pastels with a Twist

Pastels might be a spring classic, but this year we’re seeing them dialed up a notch—think lavender with a holographic shimmer, mint green sprinkled with dainty floral accents, or pink with a pearlescent finish. These delicate colors look even more magical when paired with subtle nail art, like a wavy line or tiny gemstones.

Kenneth’s Tip for Strong Nails: Before you jump into those sugary-sweet shades, invest in our Sprout Nail Growth Factor. Infused with a powerful blend of biotin, calcium, Keratin protein, and Argan oil, this remarkable formula works synergistically to optimize nail growth like never before and will help your pastel manicure stay flawless longer.

2. Bold Color Blocking & Negative Space

Bold Color Blocking & Negative Space

If you’re looking to make a statement, color blocking and negative-space designs are your best friends. Vibrant shades like tangerine, turquoise, and lemon yellow scream sunshine, while strategic negative space adds a cool, modern edge. Play around with geometric shapes, angled French tips, or even a colorful half-moon at the base of your nail for extra drama.

Kenneth’s Tip for Healthy Nails: Love bold color? Let our technicians incorporate a Cuticle Renewal Treatment at your next appointment. Hydrated cuticles keep your nails resilient underneath all those eye-catching patterns, ensuring your statement mani not only looks fierce but stays chip-free too.

3. Micro Florals & Abstract Blooms

Micro Florals & Abstract Blooms

We can’t let spring pass us by without a shout-out to florals—but this season, they’re going micro. Tiny daisies, baby blossoms, or even whimsical abstract petals are popping up on accent nails. This smaller-scale approach is perfect if you want a floral vibe that feels fresh and a little artsy rather than over-the-top.

Kenneth’s Tip for Nourished Skin: Ask for our Soothing Paraffin Treatment with your manicure. This hydrating aromatic treatment seals in the moisture applied during your manicure and stimulates new cell growth—setting the stage for beautiful hands to showcase your nail art.

4. Graphic Line Art & Minimal Details

Fans of minimalism rejoice! Sleek understated line art is still trending—especially in metallic or bold white stripes against a neutral or sheer base. Even the simplest squiggle or dot design can elevate a basic manicure into high-fashion territory. It’s all about precision here, and our experienced nail artists have the steady hands to bring these creative ideas to life.

Kenneth’s Tip for Nail Health Maintenance: Keep your nails camera-ready between salon visits with our Solar Oil Cuticle Oil. A quick swipe each day helps prevent dryness, maintains flexibility, and ensures your graphic lines stay crisp without flaking.

5. Glam Metallic Accents & Foils

Glam Metallic Accents & Foils

While we previously raved about chrome finishes, there’s a new metallic wave rolling in. Foil accents—whether gold, silver, or rose gold—are popping up on everything from a single accent nail to a glitzy tip. These metallic flecks catch the light beautifully, adding instant glamour to both neutral and vibrant shades.

Kenneth’s Tip for a Durable Long-Lasting Manicure: Have your tech use gel polish for an extra layer of protection and a salon-worthy shine that complements the sparkle of foil accents.

I recently had my hair cut with Molly and I am very happy with the result. She took the time to advise me on how to make changes now to best grow into a new style that I want. The final result was very close to the picture that I brought in to show to my stylist. I loved the fact that Molly didn't talk while she was at work cutting my hair. She only asked pertinent questions regarding my desires and answered all questions that I had for her. The one question that I did ask her was how much longer did she have at the Academy, and she replied that she would continue through the end of October. So quick, book an appointment now at the Academy, or visit her when she becomes part of the team at the Kingsdale location Nov 1. I know that's where I will be going for my next haircut. Thanks Molly!
